Kinko’s Service Corp., the copy center company headquartered in Ventura, has appointed Michael H. Cohn as president of its new international division. Cohn comes to Kinko’s from Baskin-Robbins International Co., where he served as president for eight years.

* Kathy J. WestPrather has been promoted to senior vice president and chief operating officer of On Assignment Inc., a Calabasas-based provider of temporary science and finance workers. Margaret Deneher was promoted to vice president for support services.

* Robert S. Colman has been named chairman and interim chief executive of New Image Industries Inc., a Canoga Park-based maker of dental cameras and related imaging systems, the company said.

Colman, a director at the company, replaces former chairman and CEO Roger Leddington, who is leaving New Image to pursue other interests, said Tom Compere, the company’s chief financial officer. Leddington will continue to serve as president of the company until a new CEO is found, Compere said.

New Image’s profits have been sliding in recent quarters as competition forced the company to cut its prices, even while the fall of the dollar against the yen has made it more costly for New Image to buy components from Japan. New Image has also had to contend with a number of shareholder lawsuits stemming from the collapse of a proposed sale of the company last summer.

* The directors of Chad Therapeutics Inc., a Chatsworth producer of oxygen-conserving medical devices, has promoted Frank Fleming to president and chief operating officer. Fleming was the company’s executive vice president and marketing director.

* Great Western Financial Corp., the Chatsworth-based parent company of Great Western Bank, has named Michael F. Moore as senior vice president and chief information officer. Moore, who held the same post at AT&T; Systems Leasing before joining Great Western, will lead the company’s information technology division.
