SANTA ANA : Parents Can Review Sex Course Materials
Parents of students in the Santa Ana Unified School District, may now review videos and texts that district staff have proposed for use in AIDS awareness and sex education classes.
During the review period, which ends April 21, parents may study the texts and offer comments, district spokeswoman Lucinda Hundley said.
The materials, which include such topics as sexual harassment and date rape, are designed to supplement the regular sex education curriculum. The materials are available at district headquarters, 1405 French St., Hundley said.
Parents may call (714) 558-5578 to make an appointment.
