Pedestrian, 88, Killed by Car in Laguna Hills
LAGUNA HILLS —
An 88-year-old Laguna Beach woman pulling a cart of groceries died Thursday night when she was struck by a car traveling 40 m.p.h., authorities said.
Clestia Brown , who was pronounced dead at the scene, walked into the path of a the car, which was traveling north on Moulton Parkway about a half-mile south of El Toro Road, according to Officer Steve Bell of the California Highway Patrol. Brown was not walking in a crosswalk and was throw several yards, Bell said.
