Dense-Pac Microsystems Inc.: Executives at the struggling Garden Grove semiconductor packaging maker said the company will post a loss of about $2 million for last year, mainly from a fourth-quarter write-off of about $1.5 million.

But Chief Executive James G. Turner told Bloomberg Business News that the company should rebound sharply this year because it had an pretax operating profit for the final quarter, no bank debt and good prospects for gaining manufacturing partners or technology licenses soon.
