Post Offices to Stay Open Late for Taxes
Several local post offices will remain open until midnight Monday to collect and postmark last-minute federal and state income tax returns.
Because the traditional tax filing deadline of April 15 falls on a Saturday this year, the deadline for filing tax returns has been moved to midnight Monday. More postal information: (213) 586-1463 or (213) 586-1467.
The following post offices will be open until midnight Monday: Burbank Main Post Office, 2140 N. Hollywood Way Canoga Park Main Post Office, 8201 Canoga Ave. Encino Post Office, 5805 White Oak Ave. Glendale Main Post Office, 313 E. Broadway Northridge Main Post Office, 9534 Reseda Blvd. Sherman Oaks Post Office, 14900 Magnolia Blvd. Studio City Post Office, 3950 Laurel Canyon Blvd. Sylmar Post Office, 13700 Foothill Blvd. Thousand Oaks Post Office, 3435 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. Van Nuys Main Post Office, 15701 Sherman Way Woodland Hills Main Post Office, 22121 Clarendon St.
