The School Lunch Debate
This is to comment on the April 7 Platform “School Kids Need Lunch, but Who Should Pay?” Children should go to school earlier and go home earlier. That way, they can eat when they get home. They do this in foreign countries. If it’s necessary for children to eat at school, they should bring a lunch. The school districts like the school lunch program because it gives them money. Politicians like the program because it gives them power. Students like the program because it’s convenient. We hate the program because it’s expensive.
