Tustin’s Pfetzing Wins Scratch Main
COSTA MESA —
Robert Pfetzing of Tustin won the four-lap scratch main event of the weekly speedway motorcycle racing program in front of 2,650 Friday night at the Orange County Fairgrounds.
Shawn McConnell of Brea was second, Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano third, Gary Hicks of Riverside fourth and Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa fifth.
McConnell won the the eight-lap handicap main with Pfetzing second and Hicks third.
