Victor Peterman of Ohio, the top deaf racquetball player in the nation, will be among more than 60 athletes competing in the 12th Annual National Racquetball Tournament for the Deaf.

The preliminaries begin at 10 a.m. today at Racquetball World & Sequoia in Fullerton. The finals are Saturday in men’s and women’s divisions.

The event, hosted by the National Racquetball Assn. of the Deaf, attracts players from around the country. Top male participants include Peterman, Scott Kramer from California and Wayne Delath from Washington.
