Bruins Should Continue to Play at Rose Bowl

While I can understand the UCLA desire for a football stadium closer to Westwood, the articles I read about a new stadium near the Forum leave me shaking my head. Our family has been UCLA football season-ticket holders since 1979. We drove from Orange County to the Coliseum willingly. When the decision was made to move to the Rose Bowl, the travel time was made shorter for us, and the enjoyment of game-day Saturdays was increased a thousand-fold.

A bit of a drive, yes. Not as convenient as a stadium on campus, yes. Give up the pleasures of Saturdays at the Rose Bowl for luxury boxes? You must be kidding!
