Diodes Inc., a supplier of semiconductor products based in Westlake Village, reported sharply increased earnings and revenue for the first quarter that ended March 31.
The company’s quarterly profit of $982,764 was nearly double its earnings of $495,206 during the first quarter of 1994. Its sales climbed to $14.2 million from $8.8 million during the year-earlier period, an increase of 62%.
David Lin, chief executive officer, attributed Diodes’ performance in part to the company’s North American marketing relationship with a German manufacturer whose products accounted for 43% of Diodes quarterly sales.
