* Hurray for harmony! The relocation of Snowy Trail (in the Los Padres National Forest), closed five years ago to off-road motorcyclists, is an excellent idea!
The decrease in legal off-road riding areas can encourage desperate off-road enthusiasts to ride in non-designated areas.
The alternative by the Forest Service offers a wonderful compromise--allowing off-road motorcyclists to enjoy their sport in a designated area while minimizing impact to the environment and continuing to provide the nearly extinct arroyo toad with a safe habitat.
