FARLEY’S 15 MINUTES: Farley the dog’s campaign has gone global. A day after The Times wrote about Farley’s run for honorary mayor of Sunland-Tujunga, the media swarmed onto the story like fleas. . . . The Globe magazine and Style, a French magazine, want the story; so do local radio stations. Nippon TV-Japan and Fox, KABC and KCAL-TV were also hot on Farley’s tail--er-- trail . But, says Michael Lucas, the pooch’s campaign manager, “Farley’s a very down-to-Earth dog--it’s not going to his head.”

HOMETOWN FIGHTER: Tonight’s prizefight in Las Vegas between Oscar De La Hoya and Rafael Ruelas (C1) has people here scrambling to order pay TV. . . . That’s because the baby-faced Ruelas, 24, and his fighting brothers grew up in North Hollywood. “Oscar has a lot of experience but Rafael hits harder,” said Benny Urquidez of Mikey’s House of Champions in North Hollywood. “Plus, he’s a local guy.”

PAINFUL: CSUN senior Kristin Dunn, above, placed third in last year’s NCAA javelin championships and threw a school record 176 feet, 4 inches last month . . . despite constant injuries (C14). But her natural ability continues to sustain her.

LAPD RUN/WALK: You can support both the LAPD’s Devonshire Division and your heart at today’s fourth annual Fun Run through Porter Ranch. . . . It begins at Shepherd of the Hills Church at 8 a.m., at the corner of Tampa Avenue and Rinaldi Street. Donations are $15, $10 for students and seniors. Proceeds will support LAPD programs.

FANS: Gennifer Flowers, claiming to have had the affair-of-the-century with the President, found more than a few fans in Glendale who wanted to read all about it. . . . Super Crown manager Raymond Shobe said more than 80 showed Friday--including a Bill Clinton impersonator--to get autographed copies of her new book, “Passion and Betrayal.”
