Watson General Corp.: The Irvine remote-monitoring software company posted a net loss of $258,000, or 3 cents a share, for its second fiscal quarter, an improvement over its loss of $579,000, or 7 cents a share for last year’s second quarter. Sales for the quarter ended March 31 more than doubled to $707,000 this year from $275,000. For the fiscal first half, the company recorded a net loss of $797,000, or 9 cents a share, compared with $831,000, or 11 cents a share, for its first six months last year. Sales increased 34% to $1.1 million from $822,000.
