Chihuahua Stolen on Subway Is Returned
Associated Press
NEW YORK —
Tetley, a four-pound, 4-year-old Chihuahua, has been returned to her owners, two days after she was abducted on the subway.
Tetley was riding in a closed shoulder bag with owner Glenn Edwards when she was grabbed by a purse snatcher Saturday. He, his wife and their son offered a $1,000 reward that resulted in a call Monday from a woman who said she had bought Tetley for $20. Police are investigating the theft.
