TransWorld Bank, a Sherman Oaks institution that caters to business and professional customers, is opening a temporary office in Camarillo this month and expects to complete a permanent facility in that city next fall.
The office on Arneill Road will be TransWorld’s second in Ventura County. The bank also has a branch in Westlake Village. With the opening, the 42-year-old bank will have 11 locations, all in Southern California.
David H. Hender, president and chief executive, said TransWorld hopes to “meet a need for greater and more personalized business banking services” in the Camarillo area. “We will also be moving closer to customers who have relocated to Ventura County.”
He said the bank, whose assets total $375 million, provides full business and consumer services at each of its offices.
