BREA : Young Actors Sought for ‘Wizard of Oz’
Actors, singers and dancers are being sought for a Brea Youth Theatre production of “The Wizard of Oz” to be staged this summer by the city and Stagelight Family Productions.
The Brea Youth Theatre is open to children of kindergarten age and older, as well as to teen-agers. All those who register will be given roles in the production.
Registration fees are $85 for people who live, work or attend school in Brea, and $95 for everyone else. Scholarships are available for low-income residents. The sign-up deadline is June 2.
Performances of “The Wizard of Oz” are scheduled from Aug. 3 to 13 at the Curtis Theatre in the Brea Civic & Cultural Center.
