Platinum Software Corp.: The Irvine financial software company said Wednesday that it has received a contract from the United Kingdom’s Civil Aviation Authority. Financial terms were not disclosed. The agency, which regulates British aviation and provides air traffic services, will use the software for an organization-wide financial system.
