Raider Running Back Williams Put on Probation

Share

Raider running back Harvey Williams received one year of probation Monday after pleading guilty to two misdemeanor charges stemming from a violent confrontation with his ex-wife in February.

Williams pleaded guilty to battery and criminal property damage in Johnson County District Court in Kansas. As a result of the plea bargain, a felony charge of aggravated assault was dropped.

Williams struck his ex-wife, threatened her with a knife and slashed a lamp in her apartment, according to testimony given by Lorie Williams in a preliminary hearing.
