THOUSAND OAKS : 6 Vying for Council to Appear at Forum
The six people vying for a seat on the Thousand Oaks City Council are scheduled to attend a candidates forum tonight.
Sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Ventura County, the public forum is scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. 4 at the Forum Theater in the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.
In addition, the forum will be televised live on TOTV, cable Channel 10. The program will also air repeatedly until the election June 6. Nancy Grasmehr will moderate.
The candidates for the seat are John Ellis, Trudi Loh, Mike Markey, Ekbal Quidwai, Ramaul Rush and Lance Winslow. They will respond to prepared questions submitted by the league and the audience. The candidates will not receive the questions prior to the forum.
