A former director of administration for Deloitte & Touche accounting firm is taking over the MBA program at Cal Lutheran University, which has a satellite campus in Woodland Hills.

Dr. Ronald E. Hagler, who returned to teach at the Thousand Oaks school last year, is the school’s new director for the master’s in business administration program.

Hagler said he plans to stress computer-based technology. He also hopes to send faculty to the school’s satellite campuses in Oxnard and Woodland Hills and to provide more partnerships between the school and local businesses.

“If they have enough people who want to pursue a degree on their premises, we would consider sending faculty there,” Hagler said.

Under Hagler’s direction, the school will add classes in small business and entrepreneurship, as well as international business.

Hagler first taught at the school in 1979. He left Cal Lutheran in 1984 to work for Deloitte & Touche before returning last year to teach. Hagler replaces interim program director Carol Johnson.
