Tom Lehman birdied the last two holes to overtake Craig Parry in a one-shot victory in the Colonial National Invitation Sunday at Fort Worth.

Lehman caught the front-running Parry with an 18-foot birdie putt on 17, then went in front with a 30-footer on the final hole.

The latter sent him romping around the green in a victory canter--a la Hale Irwin in the 1990 U.S. Open.

“To birdie 17 and 18 like that was unbelievable,” said Lehman, who had a closing two-under-par 68. “I may have looked pretty stupid, but I was just so excited.”
