THOUSAND OAKS : 3 Students Named to Air Force Academy
Rep. Anthony C. Beilenson, a Democrat representing parts of Thousand Oaks and Los Angeles County, has appointed three Ventura County students to attend the U. S. Air Force Academy.
The appointments were interviewed by a panel of past academy graduates, and passed the physical and academic requirements of the academy.
Dory Marie Apgar, Dale Joseph Donckels and Kevin Christopher Marsden Jr., all seniors at Thousand Oaks High School, will begin attending the Air Force Academy in July. Upon graduation, the students are required to serve at least six years in the military.
