Emergency Help

Share

* We would like to commend the fine job that is being done by the Los Angeles County Public Works Department, Road Maintenance Department, Building and Safety Department, Fire Department and Sheriff’s Department on the Diamond Bar landslide (May 20).

Special thanks to Michael Lee, road maintenance supervisor, and his crew for helping us get our vehicles out before our cul-de-sac was cut off. The public utilities have also done an outstanding job in trying to maintain water, sewer, electricity and gas for our neighborhood. Although the circumstances were unfortunate, it was truly impressive to see them all in action, coordinating with each other and doing their best to alleviate a devastating situation. While it is still a touch-and-go situation here, we feel better seeing so many trying to find a solution to our problem so that we can save our homes.
