World IN BRIEF : BRITAIN : Three Held, Linked to Embassy Bomb
British police investigating the bombing of the Israeli Embassy in London last year said they had charged three people with possessing explosives and firearms. A police spokesman did not identify the three but said they would appear in court Monday. A 30-pound bomb exploded outside the Israeli Embassy last July, injuring 14 people. A second bomb outside the offices of a Jewish charity injured six people. Police detained five people in January, but three were later released. The two others were charged with conspiracy to cause an explosion.
