San Juan Capistrano : City Seeking Builder for Downtown Project
City officials are seeking resumes from developers interested in a downtown project.
The Historic Town Center, the centerpiece of downtown redevelopment, will include 25,000 square feet of retail space and a 100-room inn. Plans also call for a 300-space parking structure and an archeological park.
The project is planned for five acres straddling El Camino Real south of Ortega Highway. The city owns the land and is seeking a developer to complete the project.
An orientation meeting for developers will be at 3 p.m. June 14 at City Hall, 32400 Paseo Adelanto.
The deadline for developers to submit is 5 p.m. June 28.
