CYPRESS — The application deadline has been extended for some types of booths at the 1995 Cypress Community Festival on July 22.
Shelley Hellen, a spokeswoman for the event, said applications are still being accepted for arts and crafts, nonprofit food booths, nonprofit information and nonprofit games.
“We’ll continue taking applications until we reach our capacity of about 150 total booths,” Hellen said. About 85 groups have applied for booths so far, she said.
The annual Community Festival usually draws more than 22,000 people, Hellen said.
Booth applications are available at the Cypress Community Center, 5700 Orange Ave., and at the Cypress Senior Citizens Center, 9031 Grindlay St.
