MOORPARK : Summer Day Camp to Begin June 19
A Moorpark summer camp for children will start June 19 and run through Sept. 8.
The camp is open to all children from kindergarten through sixth grade, and they can register throughout the summer. Fees for Camp Moorpark are $75 a week for regular hours, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is an additional $20-a-week charge for extended care, which runs from 6:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Discounts are offered for families with more than one child and for multiple-week registration. A junior counselor program is available for children ages 11 to 14.
The camp will meet at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center and includes swim trips, pony rides, arts and crafts. An overnight trip is also planned.
