Bridgford Foods Corp.: The Anaheim convenience food producer posted profit of $1.7 million, or 18 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter, 6% higher than the $1.6 million, or 17 cents a share, recorded for the same period a year ago. Sales for the quarter ended April 28 increased slightly to $26.6 million from $26.5 million. Profits for the first half of the fiscal year were $3 million, or 32 cents a share, up from $2.8 million, or 30 cents a share, for the first six months of the previous fiscal year. Sales rose to $55.1 million from $54.9 million.
