Ventura Firm Acquires Its Rival, Taylor Rentals

Ventura Rentals, a party and equipment rental firm in Ventura, has acquired a rival, Taylor Rentals, and is moving its newly merged party operations into a new location on Callens Road.

Ventura Rentals’ equipment rental business will remain on Ventura Avenue.

The company has signed a four-year lease for the Callens Road facility, according to the Ventura office of CB Commercial, which represented both the rental firm and the building’s owner in the transaction.

Terms of the acquisition of Taylor Rentals were not disclosed.

In another Ventura real estate transaction, CB helped negotiate the sale of a building on Market Street to that city’s Coast Graphic Supply.

Coast purchased the 11,000-square-foot structure from ADK Enterprises for $460,000, CB reported.

Coast Graphic will occupy space in its newly acquired building that was previously leased by Ventura County for records storage. The seller will lease back 2,800 square feet for use by ADB Systems, a related business forms concern.
