Wonderware Corp.: The Irvine software company has announced that Roy H. Slavin, 49, will become president and chief operating officer as of July 1. Slavin, president and chief executive of Siemens Industrial Automation in Georgia, will assume control of day-to-day operations. Dennis R. Morin will continue as Wonderware’s chairman and chief executive. Company officials said the addition of Slavin to the management team will allow the company to handle its ongoing growth. Slavin’s past positions include president and chief executive officer at Potter Brumfield and chairman of RHS Management Corp. Wonderware, founded in 1987, is an independent supplier of Windows-based software for the industrial automation workplace.
