Retail Rent Tops International List: Hong Kong led the survey by property consultants Healey & Baker, followed by New York, Shanghai and Tokyo. Renting retail space in Hong Kong’s Causeway Bay costs $1,500 per square foot, more than three times the figure for its nearest rival, New York’s Fifth Avenue, the study said. Munich, Vienna, Paris, Zurich and London are also listed among the top 10.
