FBI agents have arrested an Ojai man for allegedly making more than $35,000 in fraudulent credit card charges.

Christopher J. Hays, 32, was arrested Friday without incident and taken before a federal judge in Santa Barbara, where he was ordered held at a federal jail in Los Angeles.

Hays is accused of applying for and getting credit cards in other people’s names. He allegedly operated the scheme in Craig, Colo., before moving to Ojai this month, FBI agents said.
