Gunman Steals Truck in La Habra
A man carjacked a woman’s pickup truck at gunpoint late Thursday and headed toward Brea on Imperial Highway, police said.
The man approached the woman at Harbor Boulevard and Imperial Highway at 10 p.m. and took her 1994 Chevrolet Dooley four-door crew cab, black over white, with a blue stripe on the side. It has four rear wheels, and police estimate its value at $35,000. The license plate number is 4X29127.
La Habra Police Sgt. Bob Wyse said the suspect is African American, 160 to 170 pounds, and was wearing a blue jersey tank top with the number 10 on it, blue cutoff sweats, and was carrying a duffel back and a .45-caliber handgun.
