Shooting Victim in Critical Condition

An unidentified man was in critical condition at UCI Medical Center on Tuesday night after a shooting in the parking lot of a commercial center, police said.

Police said the victim apparently was hit by automatic gunfire and was still alive when taken to the hospital around 10:15 p.m.

“We’re still trying to determine what happened,” a police spokesman said.
