ROLLER HOCKEY : Bullfrogs Can’t Hold Back Vancouver in 10-5 Loss

The Bullfrogs, after taking a two-goal lead in the first quarter, stalled and lost to host Vancouver, 10-5, in a Roller Hockey International game Tuesday before 5,819 at the Pacific Coliseum.

Anaheim’s Rick Judson scored twice in the first quarter for a 2-0 lead. But Vancouver rallied with four goals in the second quarter and four in the third to take an 8-4 lead.

Victor Gervais scored twice for the Bullfrogs. He has 15 goals this season. Judson has 18.

B.J. MacPherson scored the other Bullfrog goal.

Despite the loss, the Bullfrogs (12-2-1) remain in first place in the Pacific Division with 25 points. Phoenix is second with 16.

Vancouver (8-6), which is tied for first in the Northwest Division, will play Thursday at The Pond of Anaheim.

The Bullfrogs announced the signing for forward Simon Bibeau, who spent the last two seasons with the Los Angeles Blades.

Bibeau, a left-handed shooter from Montreal, had four goals and four assists last season for the Blades.

He participated in training camp with the Bullfrogs this year but was one of the final cuts.
