A.J. Moyer Is Named Vice President at Allergan Inc.
* A.J. Moyer has been named corporate vice president and chief financial officer of Allergan Inc., an Irvine-based health care company. Moyer was previously senior vice president and chief financial officer of Coldwell Banker and had served as president and chief executive of Enhansys Inc., a software company.
* George J. Pantos has been appointed president of government relations for Kinder & Associates Inc. in Irvine, and will manage a new office in Washington, D.C. He was previously a partner in the Washington law office of Vedder, Price, Kaufman, Kammholz & Day.
* Linda Lyons has been elected 1995-96 chairperson of the Unified Medical Group Assn., a Seal Beach-based national organization of prepaid medical groups. Lyons is senior vice president of resource management and managed care operations for Scripps Clinic Medical Group in La Jolla. Patrick E. Kapsner has been elected association president. He is chief executive of Bristol Park Medical Group Inc. in Irvine.
* Charles R. Harris has been appointed president and chief executive of Simulation Sciences Inc., a Brea-based software company. Harris had been a vice president at Computervision and global account manager for Hewlett Packard Co.’s General Motors/Electronic Data Systems division.
* Michael Rusert has joined Canon Computer Systems Inc. in Costa Mesa as vice president of operations He will oversee operations in Costa Mesa and a warehouse and distribution facility in Memphis. Previously, Rusert was executive vice president of Ameriquest Technology Inc. in Irvine. He also served as president and chief operating officer of CMS/Ameriquest, a storage products company.
* Chris Downey has been elected chairman of the Saddleback Memorial Medical Center Board of Directors in Laguna Hills. He is vice president and project manager for Hon Development. Downey succeeds Johnnie Vance, who assumes the position of vice chairman.
* Bijan R. Kian has been appointed director of the Office of Foreign Investment at the Trade and Commerce Agency by Gov. Pete Wilson. Kian is co-founder of Lenders Technology Inc., a Santa Ana bank consulting firm. He has also been vice president and director of planning for Shearson Lehman Mortgage Corp. and senior division officer at Great American First Savings Bank.
