OXNARD : 3 Arrested in Slaying of Santa Barbara Man
Santa Barbara police officers arrested three Oxnard residents Tuesday morning in connection with the slaying of a Santa Barbara man.
Kenneth Oshea Foster, 29, Derek Lesean Lewis, 25, and a 17-year-old were arrested in connection with the July 22 slaying of Adrian Angelo Stevens, police said. The arrests took place in Oxnard with the cooperation of the Oxnard Police Department.
Stevens was at a party and left to use a pay phone when he was shot to death at 3 a.m. in a quiet residential area of Santa Barbara.
The murder is believed to have been gang-related, police said. Police also recovered the weapons believed used in the murder.
Foster and Lewis were booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail pending homicide charges being filed by the Santa Barbara County district attorney’s office, and the juvenile was admitted into the Santa Barbara County Juvenile Hall.
