Man Stabbed During Argument Is in Critical Condition
One of two men stabbed after an argument with a third man was in critical condition Tuesday night after sustaining injuries to his back, forearm and rib cage, police said.
The third man, Peter Lewis, 21, of Colton, was later booked into the city jail on suspicion of attempted murder, Police Lt. Robert Gonzales said.
About 6:30 p.m., police officers received a call alerting them to a fight in the 5700 block of Darlington Avenue, Gonzales said. Police said they did not know why the men had been fighting, but one of the men apparently stabbed the others, Gonzales said. The investigation is continuing.
Jesus Recio, 39, of Buena Park was undergoing surgery at UCI Medical Center in Orange Tuesday following the confrontation. His friend, Clarence James Perry, 38, of Fullerton, suffered minor injuries, Gonzales said.
