Countywide : Anti-Tax Leader to Speak in Orange
Ted Costa, chief executive officer of People’s Advocate, will speak at Wednesday’s meeting of the Committees of Correspondence, a countywide anti-tax group.
Costa’s group, based in Sacramento, was founded in 1974 and was instrumental in the passage of Proposition 13, which limits property tax increases. People’s Advocate now claims membership of more than 500,000.
The public meeting will be at 7 p.m. in the Orange City Council Chambers, 300 E. Chapman Ave.
