SMALL FACES: Bonnie Raitt’s live album sessions held recently at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland featured guest appearances by Bryan Adams (on a new song he wrote, “Rock Steady”), Jackson Browne (on his old “My Opening Farewell”), Bruce Hornsby and the Fabulous Thunderbirds’ Kim Wilson. The two-CD set is due in November. . . .

The scheduled Public Enemy farewell concert in London was canceled after group member Flavor Flav broke both his arms in a motorcycle accident in Milan, Italy. The show, which was to be taped for television broadcast, will probably be rescheduled after he heals. . . .

The Freewheelers, fronted by Jakob Dylan (Bob’s son), have finished a second album (and their first for American Recordings) with producer George Drakoulias (Black Crowes, Jayhawks). It’s due in the fall. . . .

Bob Seger has finished his first studio album in four years, and the last of his Capitol Records contract, which means that the Detroit rocker may soon start shopping for a new home after a run of more than 20 years. The new album will be released in the fall. . . .

After delays in releasing Tears for Fears’ album “Raoul and the Kings of Spain,” Roland Orzabal has moved the act from PolyGram to Epic Records, which will release the album in October--possibly with some new songs. A single, “God’s Mistake,” is due in September.
