Josue V. Alcazar; Assistant Store Manager

A lifelong resident of Ventura County, Josue V. Alcazar, died Thursday at the UCLA Medical Center after a long bout with leukemia.
He was 22.
Alcazar was born in Oxnard on Jan. 22, 1973. A resident of Somis, he was the assistant manager at a Thrifty Drug Store in Camarillo.
Before his illness, Alcazar enjoyed playing baseball and weightlifting. He also loved old cars and music.
He is survived by his parents, Isidro and Marie Alcazar of Somis; brothers Gabriel Alcazar of Somis and Johnny Alcazar of Santa Paula; sisters Esperanza Ortega of Ventura, Maria Del Rosario Murillo of Camarillo, Martha Alcazar and Candi De La Cruz, both of Oxnard.
Arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Brothers Griffin Mortuary, Camarillo.
