Cat Saves Family in China

BEIJING — A cat saved a family of six, waking them just minutes before their two-story mud house collapsed in the Chinese town of Beiling, a newspaper reported today.
On July 16, the 3-year-old cat, Ugly Sister, meowed, scratched at her master’s legs, jumped on a window sill and pushed open the window, then pulled down the sleeping man’s trousers, waking him in time to get his family out of the collapsing home.
