Emirates’ Drive Raises Millions
With donations pouring in from as far away as Colombia, the United Arab Emirates raised $43 million for besieged fellow Muslims in Bosnia-Herzegovina in a radio and television fund-raising blitz.

The largest single donation was made by the emirates’ defense minister, Dubai Crown Prince Sheik Mohammed ibn Rashid al Maktum, who gave $15 million.
