Panorama City : Man Beaten to Death by 10 Gang Members
A 27-year-old man was beaten to death early Sunday by a pack of about 10 gang members in a dispute linked to a traffic accident, Los Angeles police said.
After a car crash moments earlier, police said, Jose Mendoza confronted the gang members about 3:15 a.m. at the corner of Van Nuys Boulevard and Nordhoff Street.
The gang members beat Mendoza, then fled, police said.
Mendoza was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No other details were available.
