Eli Lilly to Buy Integrated Medical: The big Indianapolis-based drug maker said it agreed to acquire privately held Integrated Medical Systems Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed. Integrated Medical, based in Golden, Colo., develops and operates communications networks that deliver clinical, administrative and financial information to hospitals, managed care plans, laboratories, pharmacies and physicians. Eli Lilly & Co. said the acquisition will allow it to deliver information more quickly to health care companies.
