The Santa Paula City Council will review the city’s budget for the next two years during a study session on Monday.
The session, scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, will be open to the public. Residents wishing to speak on the issue will be able to do so during a public hearing at 7:30 p.m., Finance Director Cindy Kretzer said.
Although there are no plans for layoffs, the budget does not include a pay raise for city employees. However, a cost-of-living adjustment is due in September, Kretzer said.
The city’s proposed budget for 1995-96 is $12.2 million. The budget for the last fiscal year was $13.2 million, Kretzer said.
