ORANGE COUNTY : Del Taco to Show Off New Design:

Del Taco Inc. is scheduled to unveil a new restaurant design Wednesday in Foothill Ranch to help the Orange-based Mexican-style fast-food chain expand beyond its traditional Southern California stronghold. “We tested this restaurant in a couple of locations, including Las Vegas, to awesome results,” said Executive Vice President Paul Hitzelberger. “It’s got a dramatic, two-story profile, and inside it’s jammed with neon and lots of colorful graphics.” Del Taco executives credit the new “Concept 2000” design with helping to attract new franchise operators in New York and Louisiana.
