Trimedyne Inc.: The Irvine medical laser manufacturer posted a net loss of $852,000, or 9 cents a share, for the third fiscal quarter, compared with a year-ago net loss of $594,000, or 7 cents a share. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was up 3% to $3.5 million from $3.4 million. For the first nine months, the net loss totaled $2.9 million, or 31 cents a share, compared with a loss of $1.5 million, or 17 cents a share, for the first nine months of the prior year. Revenue declined 5% to $9.8 million from $10.3 million.
