Biopool’s Quarterly Profit Surges 49% to $282,172

Biopool International Inc., a Ventura producer of medical test kits, said profits increased significantly during the second quarter ending June 30.

The company said profits increased nearly 49% to $282,172, compared to $189,631 during the second quarter of 1994. Sales grew by 25% to $1.77 million, compared to $1.41 million during the same period a year earlier.

For the six-month period, profits increased by 12% to $437,362, compared to $389,827 in 1994, the company said. Sales increased 23% to $3.3 million, up from just under $2.7 million during the first six months of 1994.
