Robber Gets Away With Cash After Presenting Note
A robber fled a bank in the Huntington Harbour Mall on Tuesday with an undisclosed amount of stolen money, police said.
The robber entered American Savings Bank in the 16000 block of Algonquin Street about 11:30 a.m. and passed a note demanding cash from the bank teller, Lt. Jim Cutshaw said.
He then ran out of the building. No weapon or vehicle was seen, Cutshaw said.
The robber is described as a white male, 20 to 25 years old, with short brown hair and a beard. He was wearing a lime green T-shirt, light-colored shorts and athletic shoes.
